SP Fabrications based in Mill Hill Blackburn was formed by Stuart and Sean Procter (farther and son) in April 2002 After identifying a market for small to medium size sheet metal and steel fabrications.

This soon grew in a couple of months to 4 to help with the workload our new customers had put on us.

Just 6 months on employing 7 people with more new customers and a wide variety of skills we bought a second hand press break and guillotine to take on new jobs that we were unable to do before.

In June 2005 after identifying another market we invested in a new Amada Europe 255 CNC Turret Punch and a Amada HFE 100-3 press break.

This helped our business grow again that in December that same year we invested in a new Haeger inserting machine and  in June 2006 when we  invested in another Amada press break  this time a HFT 50-20, And are now employing 14 people.

To date we can now boast a large customer base from private individuals requiring a one off Job to the multi national corporations requiring large repeat batches on a regular basis.

We  now offer design and prototyping services among our many skills.

Future Developments

In 2008 we will be moving into the field of laser cutting due to increase demand of products, and we be expanding the workshop to accomodate this and further developments.
